This time next week I'll be at the airport en route to Italy for the summer. I'm very excited - and very nervous - about it but ultimately I'm looking forward to the adventure! I'm going to be working a lot (at least I'm planning on working a lot - let's hope that pans out) however I will have a couple weeks of time off when I'll get to do some TRAVELLING!!!

I'm excited to see my bestie's house in Brighton, and maybe, maybe we're going to go to Paris, which I've never been to and am dying to see. I imagine dressing fabulously and eating baquette and exploring the city by foot or by bike and exuding elegance and awesomeness, like this lady.

Holy Crap I want this Handbag.

It's a Mulberry and thus costs more than my entire worth. Salivating over photos online is free though so this is what I shall continue to do. It's just soooo pretty and functional and autumnal and perfect.

Ahh Monday...

I think I'd have a much easier time getting dressed in the morning if my closet looked more like this:

OHMIGOD I WANT TO DO THIS.

Covent Garden, tea, opera - it's like all of my favourite things!

Anybody else watch the Emmys last night? The show was pretty good! As were the fashions (which is clearly a main reason for tuning in...) I've also been checking out photos from Couture Week in Paris, and have decided that I would L-O-V-E love to be invited to any party where the dress code was similar to this...

or this...

but especially this:

Indulge me here...

I'm not sure if it has become apparent or not, but maybe a part of me wishes I lived in a different century...that or was somehow connected to a royal family. Why? I'm none too sure; but if either of these things were true than I would have such an amazing excuse to wear any of these spectacular fascinators:

The first and last one are my absolute favourites, because after all if you're going to be wearing ostentatious flowers, feathers and netting on your head, you might as well make it as large as possible.
These are courtesy of by Harriet, a UK outfit introduced to me by my Bride-to-be JMac. She might get a headband from them, and I kind of hope she does, just so maybe I can wear it for 5 minutes and pretend I'm en route to some sort of Derby or High-Society Event. Seriously though ladies, don't pretend you wouldn't feel capital "F" Fabulous wearing one of these millinery delights...

Oh hey,

I have been remiss in my blogger duties this week, and for that I am sorry. I have been thinking of things to blog about though, I promise! Have a peak at all of the pictures I saved on my desktop, just to share with you:

Okay, so first there was the time I was supposed to be on Craigslist searching for jobs, but was distracted by Net-a-Porter. I (naturally) gravitated straight to the shoe department where I found these Louboutins that would look friggin fabulous with my bridesmaids dress Sadly, these cost a cool $800 (or something) but due to the fact that I am half a foot taller than my Bride-to-be friend high heels have been outlawed anyway... I suppose it just wasn`t meant to be.

But maybe I could somehow, someway get my hands on these Pedro Garcia beauties, so that I could wear them ALL SUMMER LONG.Or these adoooorable Chloe flats, which I would just wear always, everywhere..

I also happened upon this beautiful Richard Nicoll number, which is just the most chic and comfy of summer dresses, that I would have l-0-v-e loved to wear to the opera on Wednesday night (I went to the opera on Wednesday night!)

But enough fantasy shopping! Look at all of the other pictures I found:

Bookshelf envy, courtesy of Mr. Lagerfeld (of course..)

And some more organized clutter:

and I found some adorable brogues (just when you thought I was done showing you pictures of shoes...)

and then, just because it`s Friday, how about some twirly fun:

Still Dreaming of Paris...

Le sigh... Since it is clear I won't be visiting La Ville-Lumière for quite some time, I guess I'll just close my eyes, listen to this song and daydream.

Reverie I think you might have found my dream home. Certainly my dream bathroom - that bathtub is sublime.

Just writin' about some stuff...

"Hang out in the vicinity of brainstorms"

That's what Free Will advised in my horoscope today. I quite like it, and think that I shall strive to do so.

Today was a much better day than yesterday (as predicted). I was out of the house by 10am (ok, 11); I learned that I can use all of the Visa Rewards Points I've been saving for no reason to put towards an RSP - hello New Years Resolution attainment!! I also went to my first ever hot yoga class! I bought a 'try it for a week' unlimited pass and my goal is to go to a yoga class everyday this week...although not neccessarily a yoga class practiced in a 38 degree room.

I also bought a fabulous pair of black wool trousers from Club Monaco that technically I can't afford, but that I am positive will get me hired once I wear them to a job interview (..that is if I get a job interview). I tried to find a photo of their beautiousness to play Show&Tell but alas the CM website is too sophisticated for me. Seriously though, in my fantasy life my entire closet looks like [and is comprised of] a Club Monaco store.
