Okay so granted I have been less than vigilant in keeping up with current affairs recently, but I've been reading about the BP Oil spill and it seems to me as though every one is so concerned about the oil reaching various shores and no one seems to take pause and consider the effect this is having on marine life. Birds covered in oil is a bad thing, but birds eating fish covered in oil can't be good either. So here's hoping the giant dome thingy actually works, despite predicted odds of 1000:1. Here's hoping not just for all of the birds and land-bound wildlife, but for all the little fishies too. Having 210 000 gallons of crude oil gushing in your home must suck, so marine life, I'm pullin' for ya.
